Inspection manhole cover in ductile iron EN- GJS-500-7 conforming to norm EN 1563:2018 with load bearing capacity over 400 kN (40 tons), conforming to the load class D400 as set out by norm EN 124:2015
FRAME It is made in a single cast, rectangular in shape with a tall reinforced border, which guarantees a stable setting and greater safety in traffic. Externally, the outside border is flanged to optimize its hold in the cement and the insertion of anchoring bolts. In the centre of the long side of the frame there is a loop which allows the insertion of the concrete wall, to obtain the siphoning effect of the catch basin.
COVER It is rectangular in shape, it ensures a good stability thanks to the insertion depth of 50mm, it comes with the locking system composed of a stainless steel screw, on one side, and two holes for the clamps on the other side.
GRATE It is rectangular in shape, with parallel rectangular slots; the upper surface is designed to be non-skid with self cleaning grips, which avoid the deposit of leaves, paper or other. It comes blocked with the same locking system of the cover.
