Inspection manhole cover in ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 conforming to norm EN 1563:2018 with load bearing capacity over 250 kN (25 tons), conforming to the load class C250 as set out by norm EN 124:2015
FRAME It is realized from a single cast, without gasket, its stability is guaranteed through a metal to metal coupling system.
The outside edge is realized with the shape of a channel in order to obtain a system of hydraulic closure if it comes filled up with sand, tar or other materials. Externally, the outside border is flanged to optimise its hold in the cement and the insertion of anchoring bolts.
COVER
It is square shaped and it ensures stability thanks to a fixing system through an elastic bar. On its surface there are two blind holes useful to insert lifting handles and to facilitate the opening (provided on demand).
All the covers are interchangeable.
Their surface is antiskid and it is specifically shaped to ensure the complete outflow of the water avoiding the ice formation.
